Our Team

Dan Rowe

In addition to being a partner at Brand Capital, Dan is the founder and CEO of Fransmart, LLC. Dan has led the development of over a dozen different franchised restaurant chains and sold thousands of franchises. Prior to Fransmart, Mr. Rowe was president of Franchise Development Company which sold over 500 franchise units for brands including QDOBA Mexican Grill which grew from a single unit to a successful 100-unit chain and was sold to Jack in the Box for $45 million. Mr. Rowe's experience also includes five years spent in marketing and sales for mainframe computer software companies where he was one of the first 25 employees at Peregrine Systems, a large provider of Infrastructure Management solutions.


Chris Bright

In addition to being a partner at Brand Capital, Chris is the President of Zpizza and a founding principle of Fransmart, LLC. Chris has been in the restaurant and franchising arena for 15 years. He has been involved with more than twenty franchise brands and has served in leadership roles with five franchise ventures. Mr. Bright has lead ZPizza’s growth and transformation from an entrepreneurial enterprise to a professionally managed franchise company. During Mr. Bright’s tenure, ZPizza has become a 50 unit national brand from a starting point of 4 restaurants in southern Orange county, California. Prior to his entry into restaurant franchising, Chris spent five years in corporate finance. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 1985 with a degree in Business Administration.


Tommy Reiser

In addition to being a partner at Brand Capital, Tommy serves as the Vice President of Finance at Fransmart, LLC. Tommy manages the day to day strategy and financial operations at the firm and oversees the financial operations at the company’s portfolio brands. Prior to Fransmart, Mr. Reiser served as an analyst with ASAP Ventures, assisting with due-diligence, industry analysis and market research. Mr. Reiser previously worked as a consultant with American Management Systems, Inc. in their finance and management administration practice. Mr. Reiser is a graduate of Presbyterian College with degrees in mathematics, biology and chemistry.


Joel Holsinger

Joel Holsinger is a Partner and Managing Director at Atalaya Capital Management LP. Prior to joining Atalaya, Joel was a Managing Director at Navigant Capital Advisors, where he was the head of the Hedge Fund Services and Restaurant Investment Banking groups. Additionally, he was responsible for managing Sextant Corporate Finance, Navigant’s $250 million alternative investment vehicle. Prior to joining Navigant, Joel was the CFO of a Southeast-based 130 unit quick service restaurant and casual dining franchisee. Prior to that Joel was a Vice President with Wells Fargo in the capital markets group where he managed a team of investment professionals underwriting senior loan transactions to middle-market companies. Joel began his career as a Credit Analyst with Citigroup. Joel received a B.A. degree in Finance from California State University, Fullerton.


Craig Cortright

Craig Cortright is a Senior Associate at Atalaya Capital Management LP. Craig was formerly a Senior Associate with Navigant Capital Advisors in their Restaurant Investment Banking group. His primary responsibilities included the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and transaction advisory services to middle market clients as well as bankruptcy, turnaround, and financial advisory services to distressed companies and creditors. Prior to Navigant, Craig was a Financial Analyst at StorageTek. Craig received a BA degree in Finance from University of Denver and an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
